…making it’s triumphant return to an actual Friday!
Dean Norris Writes the Best Ending Possible for Breaking Bad.
Everyone has been speculating about how Breaking Bad will end.
Will Walt die? If so, who kills him? Who is the gun for? What will happen to Jesse? Will Hank be the one to take Walt down? So many questions! Well, this week Dean Norris (who plays Hank) broke his silence and revealed what’s in store for our meth-cooking friend. I’ve got to say, I did not see this coming, but I am completely satisfied with the result.
(If you didn’t pick up on it, this is not actually a spoiler, just a video Dean made for FunnyorDie.com. Watch it.)
An Oklahoma Legend Retires.
Oklahoman’s Begin Making Up Rules for a New Drinking Game.
Oklahoma’s weather god, Gary England, has officially relinquished his crown… sort of. This week, Gary called it quits on his 41-year career as KWTV’s chief meteorologist, but will continue on with the company behind the scenes. I don’t usually care about this kind of stuff, but the guy has been keeping me advised on severe weather my whole life, so even I tuned in to watch his final broadcast. I don’t know how you send off someone who has been so vital in making sure your citizens are as safe as possible from impending doom at the unpredictable hand of mother nature, but they did as good a job as they could. If it weren’t for Gary and his contributions to technology, I assure you that the fatalities all of our historic tornadoes would be devastatingly higher. Thank you for all your hard work, Gary!
Aaron Paul Rumored to Play Joshua in the New Ridley Scott Film, Exodus.
I cannot adequately express how happy this would make me. With the end of Breaking Bad neigh, I find myself wondering what will become of Aaron Paul. The kid is good and he deserves substantial roles, but with the entertainment industry, you don’t always get what you deserve. If this rumor ends up being true, it could solidify Aaron in movies. For what it’s worth, I think he’d make a great Moses successor.
This is just weird. Apparently this monument just randomly appeared on the lawn of the Paseo Grill sometime this week. It’s inscribed with “In the year of our lord 2012 Creer Pipi claimed this land for Azathoth.” No one knows exactly where it came from, but I’m sure some drunk guys are having a good laugh about it. If it’s true, let’s hope Azathoth decides to keep the restaurant intact, but talks them into lowering their prices. I’ve been wanting to check that place out.

Rachael Fulfills a Dream… and Buys a Cool Mug.
I never share anything from my own feed on here, but I felt the need to mention that I saw both Flight of the Conchords and Dave Chappelle on Sunday. If you know me, you understand that that comedic combination is pretty much as good as it gets. And it was everything I hoped it would be.
You know what was surprising though? Demetri Martin was really funny. I know he was a big deal like, three years ago. I watched his show from time to time – it was decent. I’d always liked the guy as a person, but he really impressed me. He made some great off the cuff remarks about the venue right off the bat, then went into his Mitch Hedberg-ian style set which was kind of brilliant. Unfortunately, some of his best bits went over most of the audiences’ heads. I think my cohort, Brandon, and I were the only ones LOLing at the tree house joke. (I think tree houses are cruel. It’s like killing somebody, then asking his friend to hold the body.) Such a shame.
Oh, and I bought this super rad Wonder Woman mug for TJ Maxx. There’s no interesting story here. I just really dig my new mug.
