2015 Tweet Roundup

Saying something amusing, poignant or even whimsical in 140 characters is an art few have mastered. I’ve been honing my skills since all the cool kids were using Lockerz to tweet their photos, and I’m proud to say that 2015 was the most tweeterific year of my life.

Here’s a look back at 21 times I totally nailed it last year in 140 characters or less.

“Kevin Durant has scored several points, and they are numbers.”

This is accurate. I remember spending the better part of an hour finding this specific Steven Tyler picture.

Podcastin’ ain’t easy, but it is fun. Matter of fact, I hope to do it for a living eventually.

I survived and went on to break in multiple pairs of jeans in 2015.

I’m still not sure what happened, but you’re welcome for getting Jimmy Ray stuck in your head. #90spop

Shudder. So cruel.

I thought things were going well until….

It was.

Some days my job is really hard.

Still waiting for an answer to this. In the meantime, I’ve licked approximately seven Old School Bagel Cafe wrappers. Please do not factor the quantity into your fatty rating.

This still makes no sense to me, but she stands behind the statement.

My greatest accomplishment in hashtags to date.

Let’s be honest, I live at detergent-in-the-Downy-ball levels of tired.

I thought this was a 6/10 on the clever tweet scale. With 15 likes and 4 RTs, it’s by far my most popular tweet of all time.

Mind still blown.

“Text Beth!”
“Here’s what I found on the web about Will Smith.”

E’ery day.

My Dad is the smartest man on Earth.

I understand that this is one of those “you had to be there” tweets, but it makes me chuckle every time. He was really working hard for that joke. I’m already looking forward to it popping up on my Timehop next December.

SOLD! Literally. I purchased the item.

If those stunning tweets haven’t convinced you that I’m worth a follow, you should know that I’m heavily considering binge watching and live tweeting all four seasons of Alf sometime in the future. It’d be a shame to miss out on any of that action.

Also, it’ll greatly help my Twitter power rankings in the company newsletter.
