You’ve (mostly likely unintentionally) stumbled into my little place on the internet. Feel free to stay and take a look around – there’s beer in the fridge.
Since you’re here, you’ve probably already gathered that this is a blog mostly based on lists and my elitist views on film and TV… You’ll also occasionally run across posts about the Oklahoma City Thunder and my personal life.
Sorry it’s not more organized around here. You get what you get. That’s the beauty of the internet.
As far as me as a person – I’m 31 and single with no kids. I reside in the great state of Oklahoma. I like spicy foods, slip-on shoes, making lists, stories about serial killers and mobsters, the smell of Christmas, PJ pants, songs in minor keys, people who take pictures so I don’t have to, mix CDs from friends, popsicles and hugs.
So what does that have to do with my writing skills?
Nothing at all.
I’ve been writing this blog for about five years now. From time to time I manage to write something that gets acknowledged by real writers. During the 2010 – 2011 NBA playoffs, my entry The 10 Commandments for Thunder Fans was listed in the Daily Bolts on ESPN’s Thunder blog, DailyThunder.com.
Also, my post Top 10 TV Dudes I’d Marry was chosen as a Freshly Pressed article on WordPress.com. So there’s that.
Oh, and this one time I was invited to take part in a segment for HuffPost Live to discuss Breaking Bad viewers’ hatred of character Skyler White based on a blurb I wrote in response to an Anna Gunn opinion piece published in the Times, but that didn’t pan out. Regardless, I’m still considering it an accomplishment.
As far a professional things are concerned, I am currently a content marketing specialist for Big Wing Interactive. If you’re not sure what that means, read this. I have also worked in the radio industry for over a decade and am currently on the air in the Oklahoma City metro at 104.5 KRXO and 104.1 KMGL. Oh, I help run an online radio station born from KOKF 91FM called 91 Online. In addition to all that, I write the script for a nationally syndicated countdown show (The Weekend 22), voice some music news and produce a Thunder fan-based podcast called Mr. Presti’s Neighborhood. So, yeah. I have heaps of free time.

…Okay, maybe just one.
